Guided All-Day Retreats
A day of mindful silence can be a powerful and restorative experience, whether you are new to mindfulness or a seasoned practitioner. In that spirit, we would love to have you join us for a day of mindfulness meditation practices.
Before the day begins, we will send you instructions for creating a sanctuary in your own home. During the day, we will slowly guide you through practices that will expand your ability to settle and soften. If you are new to mindfulness, you will be given options to ease in and out. If you already have an established meditation practice, this will be a day of deepening.
Some of the practices you will be offered include:
- Sitting Meditation
- Gentle Mindful Yoga
- Walking Meditation
- Mindful Eating
- Loving-Kindness Meditation
All that is required is that you come with an open mind and an open heart. Read more on what you can expect below the schedule and registration details.
New to Mindfulness?
If you have no formal experience with mindfulness and meditation, you may find a daylong retreat challenging. We welcome any questions you might have before registering. If you feel drawn to this format, we encourage you to give it a try! You might also be interested in one of our half-day introductory workshops: Mindfulness for Beginners, Self-Compassion for Beginners, or Mindful Eating for Beginners.
8-Week Class Participants and GRCFM Alumni
Many of our All-Day Retreats are held following the sixth week of our 8-week classes. As a participant of these classes, you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to deepen and expand your practice. The retreat is included in your tuition. Please don’t miss it! All past participants of any GRCFM class or workshop are warmly invited to attend all upcoming All-Day Retreats at a discounted rate.
