Eat for Life: Mindful Eating

If you’ve been on an endless rollercoaster of yo-yo dieting and self-judgement, it’s time to try a new approach. Reclaim a healthier relationship with your body by learning intuitive eating principles.

In Eat for Life (EFL), you will rediscover your natural delight in food and appreciation for your body. Through mindfulness meditation and yoga, you’ll learn to listen to the guidance of your body. Eat for Life is a non-diet approach that advocates non-judgment and self-compassion. Students re-learn to use intuitive cues to guide when and what to eat.

  • How to cultivate a mindful eating practice for yourself
  • Which common cognitive distortions interfere with our ability to eat healthfully
  • The three tenets of food wisdom
  • What the common barriers to being physically active are, and ways to overcome them

*Eat for Life was developed by Lynn Rossy Ph.D., author of ‘The Mindfulness-Based Eating Solution’ and one of Mindful Magazines top ten Mindfulness books of 2016.

Lori is a registered dietitian and certified wellness coach who has helped hundreds of people live healthier and happier by paying attention to their own bodies. Learn more on our Instructor Bios page.

Class Details:

Attendance at a Free Information Session is STRONGLY recommended. The class consists of eight weekly sessions and one All-Day Retreat after the sixth week of class. The retreat is an extended period of practice to integrate what you have learned in the course. Tuition Includes lifetime access to meditation audio files, digital downloads, and the EFL Workbook through the MetaFi app.
